prepare and opening move.   (Eg, Long finger touches side of thigh, then, staying upright transfer body weight into right leg – step left. Here we have great opportunity to 'distinguish between full and empty'. ... yin and yang. 

 

 

 

repulse monkey  ( x2 starting from right)    ( try to use the waist and the Kua, keeping knees safe and soft, don't let any part of the body stop on its own , eg, leading hand!)     One thing moves ... all moves.       Also experience and explore the spirals through the arms.

3.  White crane spreads wings - left side. (right foot is empty) step

 

4.  Brush knee twist step (2) step right then left


 

5.   Deflect parry and punch

 

6.  Withdraw and push  (lift toes of leading foot)

 

7.   Single whip  (right thumb and fingers point down as wrist is raised)

 

8.    Play Lute

 

9.     Repulse monkey  (2)

 

10.  Fair Lady works at shuttles (2) left then right

 

11.   Needle at sea bottom

 

12   Fan through back
